Universities throughout Europe are occupied by students. Against the under-financing. Organized bottom-up, with online social media. Circulated on Twitter. Tasks structured via a wiki, Twitter, blogs and Facebook. 1) protests of this scale did not need the support of mass media for mobilization. 2) because everyone could follow what was going on it kept the press from labeling the protesters as rioters. The power of opinion-making had shifted.
