Shamanism is not a religion, it is not about beliefs, in fact it is not a belief system at all. It is a path or paths to knowledge, which is gained through experience of many facets of life, through rituals, ceremonies, prayer and meditation, trials and tests. Knowledge is something that works, that stands up to test, and to the test of time, that is known from inside, unlike belief which is something taken on from outside, from others. Wars are fought over beliefs, never over knowledge.

Late last week Princeton University economist and New York Times
columnist Paul Krugman wrote a piece on his NY Times blog that history
will view as the best evidence to appear in at least several decades of
the utter irrelevance of mainstream economics. The piece purported to
respond to a Wall Street Journal editorial by Mark Spitznagel in which
Mr. Spitznagel argued broadly the Austrian economists’ line that all
government spending favors one group over another and more specifically
that the Fed’s Quantitative Easing (QE) programs of recent years favor
banks and the rich.

larger region that encompassed most of Transoxiana and Soghdiana[3] in
the north, extended westward to the Caspian Sea, southward to include
theSistan desert and eastward to the Hindu Kush mountains in
Afghanistan.[4] Arab geographers even spoke of its extending to the boundaries of ancient India,[2] possibly as far as the Indus valley, in what is now Pakistan.[1] Sources

that Kandahar,Ghazni and Kabulistan in Afghanistan formed the eastern

In Middle Persian he is called Dahāg or Bēvar-Asp, the latter meaning “[he who has] 10,000 horses”. Within Zoroastrianism, Zahhak (going under the name Aži Dahāka) is considered the son of Angra Mainyu, the foe of Ahura Mazda.
